Retained Health & Safety Competent Advice Service

BSA are currently working with a large UK wide legal firm.

BSA have been appointed by a large UK wide legal firm as their retained health & safety advisors. When first meeting with the firm we set out a plan on how we could improve health & safety within the company and have now started to put the plan into action. We have been requested to visit their office buildings in 8 locations nationwide to carry out inspections and fire risk assessments. We are visiting each location in turn and have provided an action plan for their buildings to be brought in line with current legislation. We have also offered our advice regarding their Covid-19 return to work procedures and arrangements.

In addition to the above we have also developed and presented training sessions for managers with the responsibility of carrying out risk assessments of their work activities including new and expectant mothers and stress in the workplace. The use of display screen equipment was also covered in the training and explained how to complete a workstation assessment and that further guidance could be found using links to the HSE website. Our health & safety retained agreements come with a standard service to assist companies with their regulatory compliance as well as providing guidance for possible improvements.
